Up & Down & All Around!!!

Hey Everybody,

Well what's happened over the last week or so?!...hmmm well I've been playing alot... trying to learn my parts for both Navigator and Symbolic... I'm also studying material for a band that "might" be offering me a TOUR... so we'll see what comes of that.

I seem to be gathering more and more students... so that's a breath of fresh air ...it's not easy making ends meet without actually slaving for someone else...but hey..I'm doing it!!!

NAMM is coming soon... but lord knows if I/we will be able to go...I havent gotten confirmation from Boo at WFD about his part in the process... so I don't know if its going to be happening for us this winter... I hope it does... I might have to approach my endorsers for financial help with the flights/hotels.

Outside of this stuff... i'm STILL trying to get my recording rig up and running... the amp for the board itself had a bad fan in it... I thought it was making my meter bridge jumpy...so I took it out last night... about a 2 hour job... and once I finally got it all back together... it STILL jumps... so I don't know what to do... now im worried its gonna have over heating issues... ughhh.. the fan was noisy/crappy... but I don't wanna wreck this thing... I'll try to re-install the fan I guess for now.

Last week I got GREAT news tho... I landed 10 more flight cases for my empire!!! total is now 21 FLIGHT cases!!! I have a case for everything!!! Talk about FINALLY!!!!!!!!!! I've been trying to afford this for along time... but do you know how expensive they are?!?!?! god...the cases are worth more than what I put in them sometimes... so thats a HUGE relief on my lifes goals.

Today I have Navigator practise again... luckily my brother will be at work today... we've been served with a excessive noise complaint in writing... which is understandable... so I gotta do some more sound proofing efforts and FAST. My roomate will have to aswell... but he's not someone I can count on to do that shit... he must expect it to happen for him.

Sooo thats my life in a nutshell right now folks... I'm doing well... but I got WORK to do... so til next time... stay well... stay hungry... and stay focused!!!

Rollin Along

Hey Everyone,

So I'll try to recap on this week. I got some new Drum Mics for my kit and some new clips... I got the sennheiser E604 3 pack and 3 shure mic clips for the audio technica's I already had. I didnt mention it yet but I've scored myself a CAD Maxcon II mixer from a great guy I met off the net... this machine is amazing... wayyyy over my head...but with some help from my friends... i'll have it up/running very soon.

I've been staying busy forsure... giving lessons about 15 times a week now... and I'm playing in 5 bands...so I'm playing as much as I can be. This week we started the new Death tribute "symbolic" ...it went VERY well for our first jam... 6 songs almost nailed already...so that rulz.

The classic rock cover band I've created is called "Navigator"... it is also going super well... we practise 2 times a week...so hopefully it'll be in bars by the new year!!!

Outside of those... I've been spending time with good friends and my lovely girl Christine... so I really can't complain...

November Rising

Hey Everyone,

Time to get back on track with this site... I havent been here enough.

So today is November 1st 2007. This Month I turn 28!!! Which is good... makes me feel like its time for alot of change... and alot more focus.

Today I woke up feeling rested...so that helps. I have to go work for 4 hours helping an older man I know do some work at his place...but thats good... reason to go for a bike ride and get some fresh air and a few extra bux in my pocket.

After that I'll come home to shower/supper quickly and then teach drum lessons to a couple of my students. Then once that's over it'll be around 10 tonight...as I've booked a late night lesson for one of my students.

I think tonight i'll be just chilling around the house trying to tackle a few new arrangements I've been planning... we'll see how I feel by then hahaha.

That's it for now folks... I'm doing ok with all things considered.
