To Boldly Go Where No Man Has Been Before!!

Hey Everyone!!

Yesterday was both productive and eventful!!. I started the day with my duties.. and then being unable to resist the insanely nice weather ..I went on a bike run to town.. its about 10km out.. 10km back of course. I first went to Tim Hortons..even tho ive quit coffee..I got a couple bottles of apple juice and a blueberry muffin..mmmm makes me want some right now just mentioning it hahaha.

After that.. I went to visit Paul McGraw at "Salt Water Sounds" on water st.. he is one of 3 music stores on the Miramichi River. Anyway.. me and Paul have agreed to work out an idea..where I will be busking on water st. for only 1 day this june. The idea is to raise the money I need to afford going to NAMM '06 in Texas this July... this is where they host the WFD event (Worlds Fastest Drummer). Im in dire of need of alot of preperation tho... so I may not make the July event.. might have to wait for December '06 in L.A. ..but even so..raising the money either way is essential. It will be put into a special bank account to insure it. Wish me luck with this.. as I stand a good chance at making a fool of myself in this "city" haha. Noone has busked a drumkit in this town EVER..so it'll be a first. Luckily.. me and Paul both have connections at the newspaper..so it will be well advertised.. I'll keep you posted of course.

While at Paul's ..Aaron and Siophan dropped in because they noticed my bike parked out front. Aaron tested out a case for his Yamaha hollowbody guitar..but it didnt fit. So we said good bye to Paul and headed over to Jody's shop to let him know of the party Aaron was hosting.. his going away party.

I then biked back home to have supper (breakfast really haha). After having a meal.. I then put in 2.5 hours on the drumkit.. it was a tiring smash forsure.. I feel soooo outta shape lately. But I admit fully..ive been slackin on the actual playing of the kit. Then afterwards.. I showered and got myself ready to go out and left by 9:30pm. We partied all night.. and I made the most of the night..making it my "farewell to party supplies" if you know what I mean... so thats it for me folks.. im now officially cleaning out.. NO MORE PARTY SUPPLIES... thats right ..go ahead and label me "STRAIGHT EDGE" ..thats kool with me.. im looking forward to my new lifestyle. The quote by Ghandi "we must become the change we wish to see in the world" will not be forgotten.. it will be applied.

So thats it for last night. Today has started at noon.. im just having my breakfast and then im gonna clean up and start the day. Right now my folks are out gathering bathroom supplies.. so im gonna smash til they return home.. and then spend all day today working on the bathroom renovations.. I cant wait to have a presentable home finally. Wish us luck folks.. take care and smash hard!!!

Hey!!!

Today is Monday. I got up today to find out mom was out getting supplies for the bathroom renovations.. so I took the chance to get to work on the drum kit. Mom got back by about 2pm and said she had a flat tire.. so she didnt get the supplies. But that gave me the whole day to work on my drums. Aaron called me around 4pm and said he broke Dereks bass pedal..snapped the chain.. so LCUKILY I had a spare gibraltar chain for him.. hes real lucky because Derek and the boyz are jamming tonight.. so he woulda been pissed..and it dont help that hes about 6,4 250 solid and has full sleeved tats haha..lets just say.. i wouldnt wanna answer to it!!!

..So.. I spent allllll day and night working on the drums.. with a few breaks in between for chats/meals.. did a little bit of working out on the weights too.. but thats something im not so into anymore.. I was suffering a bit of tendonitus last week.. so.. Also.. im just not interested in becoming "attractive" ..the one person I want to attract cant even talk to me.. so fuck that noise. I'll keep it up just cause its fun.. but I wont push as hard as I have been. More Rock..Less Talk!!

So the kit is back in action.. I start my practise regiment tommorow.. so stay tuned and stay well!!

Hey Hey!!

So today was sunday.. and I spent almost the whole day with my buddy Matt. We played Vid games most of the day.. when I arrived our friend "Fry" was over visiting Matt..so that was kool. We then got word from Steph and Tiff that theyd like to come visit us.. so we invited them down and they arrived around 5pm.. they stayed til about 10pm.. Steph was kind enough to drive me home.. she rocks!! Hi Steph!!

Once I got home.. Ed called and said he'd like to go for a quick coffee.. so from 11-12pm I went with him for coffee. Its now 3:30am ..and ive spent the last 3 hours working on the new kit configuration... its FAR from easy.. but its coming along.. I hope to be setup and back at it by friday forsure.

Tommorow is being spent on the bathroom. We're laying down a new floor.. painting the walls.. building new shelving and also replacing the washer... so alot of work ahead for us tommorow.. wish me luck and stay tuned!!

Halifornia Bound

Hey Folks.. sorry its been so long since ive made an entry.. but ive been away visiting Halifax NS. Had a really GREAT time there.. i'll try my best to re-cap and generalize what I did day by day.. so lets see here..

Monday:
---------
I get approached by my friends Jay and Ava with the offer to go to halifax around 3pm.. by 4pm im packed and on the road. I arrived in Hali by 1:00 am..first stop was Necro/Joyce/Chris' place.. known to me as "the undergrowth"...ive still never met Chris yet.. but Necro and Joyce we're still up when I got there.. so we watched movies til about 6am.

Tuesday:
---------
I wake up around 1pm. Necro is still in bed.. and Joyce has a friend over.. whose name is Kyle. They were planning on a movie marathon that day.. but instead they came downtown with me to see what kinda trouble we could find haha.. we went to the paperchase and had breakfast.. our friend Ali was working..so she "made it with love" as she said!!..haha then we walked around til we met with a friend of their's named Corey.. he was really kool shit.. as was Kyle.. good times were had indeed. After cruising abit.. I got ahold of my friend Lee..and got dropped off at his place. We had our say and then quickly headed over to a jamspot known as "Area 52" ..we jammed there from about 6-11.. it was kool.. even tho the house kit I used sucked haha..but im just spoiled.. sorry boys..but Pearl Exports just dont cut it anymore haha.
We ended that night early enough.. back to Lee's by 12.. we crashed early.

Wednesday:

Me and Lee go downtown for awhile.. we hit up musicstop..as I wanted to talk to Dave Skinner about possibly volunteering to road hand for the Drum Clinic that was happening on Friday. So I had a great chat with Dave about many things that are going on musically for me and the maritimes.. HEY DAVE!! haha..im sure he'll be reading this at some point.. so a huge shout out to him for his help/advice/support!! ..After leaving musicstop..we went down to Second Cup for a coffee.. and when we we're leaving.. a friend I met threw a mutual friend (walker) recognized me and approached me.. it was Isabelle!! ..hey Isabelle!! ..it was really neat to meet her there..because the first night I hung with Isa..we went to that same S.C shop.. so that was a trip. We went to Lee's to chill and get a bearing on what plans to make.. so from there.. we called Walker.. and went over to visit him!. We had to stop on the way to pick up a pizza..courtesy of Isa.. thanks again Isa!! great Za.. So once we were at walkers new pad..(which rocks alot..wtg bro) ...we made the Za and phoned Jay and Ava to see what could be done for the night.. so we made plans to go see Da Vinci's Code for 9pm. Isa couldnt come.. so we went as the 4 of us.. it wasnt a bad flick at all.. I was surprised!! So after the movie..we had to stop and get an ULTIMATE poutine from Xtreme pizza.. man..I live for that poutine hahah..then we got a ride back to walkers..and I crashed the night there. Thanks again Walka!!

Thursday:
----------

I wake up with walka around 12.. do our duties and get ready to go have breakfast. We went down to a diner on Quinpool Rd. I had a sundae that was amazingly good. Walker and I then parted ways..as he had to be at his new job for 5... at Xcitement Video hahaha..so ironic yet fitting for walker.. haha. So after leaving him..I head up Quinpool to Buckleys Music and visit/meet Doug the drum dept manager. We chat abit about the drumometer he has setup there.. and I mention that I hold the title as "Maritimes Fastest Drummer" ..of course.. he wanted me to prove it.. so with my old score being 989 in 60 seconds.. I had to try it. I test the meter by sustaining 200 bpm.. it lands on 801.. so i know its dead on.. I then give it a real run.. 944.. same as my semi finals score in Moncton 2005. So after that..I felt warmer.. I tried again and got 985.. by then I wanted to break 1000.. so..gave it another go and BAM!!! 1002!! haha I finally broke 1000!!! ...so being pumped from that.. and seeing Dougs doubts quickly fade.. I go again..and score 1004!!! ..so thats my new personal best.. 1004. After that Doug tells me about the Blues jam he's apart of downtown at a club called "The Sea Horse" ..I promised him id make it down.. and that I did. I went walking around to find this bar..and while doing that.. I met this great girl named Gille. Hi Gille!! ..she was talking with Graham at the paperchase about 20 mins before I met her again.. so she stopped me and we talked for a good 30 mins while she waited for a bus. She was glad I showed up..as was I.. she seems really kool and makes a good impression. I then make plans with Jay and Ava to meet at Second Cup.. they only take 3 hours!!! ..it was ok tho..I met a woman named Eliese who works there.. shes very nice.. Hi Eliese!!!..finally tho I met up with Jay and Ava for the night..and went to East Side Marios for dinner.. it was great. We all then headup to the Jam..and it was AWESOME!!! ...Doug's band "The Horsepower Blues Band" is very rockin!!!..I mean ..VERY.. they rocked that pub all damn night. I ended up getting up for a few tunes..and got a great responce from the crowd AND the band..who im telling you..are VETS!!! ..so that was flattering.. I hope Doug glances this..Thanks a Million for letting me sit in on your kit Doug!! .....soooooo after that..we head back to Fall River where Jay and Ava stay..the brakes on their car went earlier that day..so it was quite sketchy leaving the city only using the E-brake.. haha.. it was at night tho..less traffic going.. so we made it safely thankfully... and then we crashed hard.. as Jay had to be up for work at 7am.

Friday:

OK.. damn this is alot to remember/type..haha.. be thankful I care!!! hahaha.. So lets see.. Jay wakes me up around 7am.. I quickly get up and take a walk around the property that im staying at. Judy and Jake were very kind to let me stay the night there.. Judy is Ava's mom ..thanks again Judy for letting me stay!!! ..so about this property... its a gorgeous back yard that leads to a brook.. so u can be sure it was very serene at 7am.. good way to start the day!! ...Me and Jay then take the car as far as Sackville bus terminal.. where we then decide he should take time to try to fix the car instead of going straight to work.. so we did that.. I went to Wal Mart and bought new shoes. Go Me haha. So after all that..the car still wasnt fixed.. so we took the bus into the city..arriving by about 12pm.. I then head to a shop called "The PaperChase" ..My buddies Graham and Ali both work there.. so that rocks. I used the internet Cafe there and got in touch with my friend Paul that is from Hali. He came down and met me at the shop and we then went back to his apt.. to listen to tunes and chill. After that we headed out for a walk around the town.. good times forsure.. we went to a restaurant right above the Second Cup I mentioned.. It was a great time. Theeeeeeeeennn.. we headed back to Paul's ..where we both made plans for the Evening.. as I had to goto the Drum Clinic for 7pm. So I took off to the clinic around 6:30pm ...rolling into the clinic.. Jimmy Degrasso is already started.. he's an AMAZING drummer for those who dont know of him yet.. played with MANY huge bands.. Ozzy,Megadeth,Suicidal Tendencies,MD45,Alice Cooper.. the list goes on forever.. and then to top it off.. they also have Dave Elefson of MEGADETH in the house.. him and Doug Wimbish of "In Living Colour" doing bass clinics with Jimmy accompaning them. It was AMAZING.. then to top it off.. my friend Lee I mentioned..happens to be in a Megadeth tribute band in Halifax..and he got to play with both Dave and Jimmy!!! ..I was so floored by them and for them..that I let the hair out and did alot of windmills for the occassion hahaha.. I love to thrash!!! What a great clinic tho.. I also got Daves Autograph and Jimmy's Sticks!!! The PAIR he used!!! YUSSsssss!!!
After that..we were all rushing hard.. so we went back to Lee's to drop off our gear..and then headed over to Area 52.. to unfortunately realize we didnt have all the gear needed for a jam,..so we then head back to Lee's to make plans.. there we made the plan to goto the Attic to see a band called "Adrenaline" ..while at the bar.. I ran into HellaJohn,TerraMike,John Haight,DrawningInward (Christian/thanks for the brew!!!),Surgeon Visceral(Dave)..and a girl named Kristin..who remembered me..so in return..Ive spelt her name right.. see KRISTIN!!!!!..so Adrenalin went on..I began the trashing with windmills O'plenty!! ..about 4 songs in..they go into Great White..and im thinking to myself "wow..what a great chance to go rest " haha..then Lee comes and says hes gotta go cause he works at 8am.. so we left. Great ending to the night tho.. only complaint I have was the new shoes I bought tore up my heels BIG time.. everyone who saw the blisters can vouche they were brutal. Meh ..I shoulda known better.

Saturday:

8am.. Lee wakes me up to let me know hes called into work "sick" ..ehhem.."sick of working" haha.. so he rewards himself with that. I was greatful to get to sleep in haha. I tried calling Jay all day.. but Judy said they were sleeping still.. so then Lee's friend Jenny arrives..and shes great.. really nice girl.. hi Jenny!!! ..we all go to Wendys for breakfast.. mmm was good. Then it was over to musicstop quickly..for the "Show and Sale" ..I dont usually find products I want..but its the ppl who work those booths that I need to meet..so im cruising around..gathering stickers and stuff.. and around the end..I run into "Redge" who is the drum tech for Jimmy and many other big names and is also the Artist Relations Manager for Pearl Drums of Canada!!!!.. so thats an amazing contact to have made.. Hey Redge!!! ..we then took off back to Lee's..where I checked in online to see who I could have coffee with before leaving town.. and I then made plans with my friend Tracey who lives just 2 blocks down from Lee ...so I told Jay and Ava where we'd meet..as they were renting a car.. I had 30 mins to kill.. so I met with tracey and we hung for awhile.. she went back home and I ended up waiting in the commons for Jay and Ava for about an hour.. they say they drove around 50 times looking for me.. but no regrets.. I spent the time reading my new drum swag haha.. Once they arrive..I had met up with Paul again..he was cruisin threw and saw me sitting there waiting.. so he came with once they arrived.. we dropped him off and headed out of the city finally.. I got back to miramichi around 11:30pm.. safe and sound.. thanks again Jay and Flava Av!!..its really nice to be home!!

I Am The Anti-Pop.

Hey folks!!

..lets see here.. its now 6:30pm on saturday.. im busy right now re-assembling/arranging the castle grey skull II. The drums and extra hardware are over at the studio still..but ive got them torn down and ready to come home. Right now my hands are covered in paint spots and i feel pretty light headed haha.. ive painted about 50 egg flats.. took all 4 cans of paint.. cheap paint or wind.. who knows.. but ive got some done so i'll be starting work on that tommorow.

Between now and thursday.. to sum it up.. ive been busy doing house work and spending time with my friends on and offline. Ive also got some exciting news. Ive been in touch with Tony Laureano ..and he is refering me to a band that needs a drummer for their summer tour!! ..they are based in LA.. so this is exciting.. I can use the sun!! hahaha.. wish me luck with that audition.

Mind Over Matter.. If I Dont Mind.. It Dont Matter!!!

Hey Folks!!

First.. id like to thank everyone for the comments, emails and the support!!! WOW!!
So lets see what I did I do yesterday? haha ..its 4:30pm and im just waking up! haha

Yesterday started around 3pm ..I woke up and did my duties before coming online.. I then made plans with T-Bone to paint the egg flats ive got for the jam room.. but when he was on his way here.. the rains came!! ..grrr.. so we just hung out here and worked on my new ideas for a new setup. Im trying to find a balance for both live and studio sessions.. but im already crying inside about not having my 2 tier'd set up .. ohhhhh someday i'll have a house of my own.. and roadies that will justify using such a massive set up.. I HOPE!!!!!

So while me and Tery were workin on that.. my buddy Ed called and seemed bummed out.. he invited me out for a coffee.. so I said sure.. I got ready and T-Bone left for home. It was about 8:00pm when me and Edster took off for a drive.. good times forsure... we then came home around 11pm.. I did a few things around the house and returned some calls.. and heres the GREAT news!!!

IM FINISHED THE BLACK FROST CD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats right folks.. ive done 8 songs and they fill a 74 min almost.. so there is no more room for another song.. so its finished.. ive done my part. YAY!! haha.

So I then spent the rest of the night.. hunting down killer local ppl on Myspace.. feel free to add me everyone!! www.myspace.com/mikemachinemallais is the link!! ..I was up til 7am this morning..chatting with a buddy online.. mostly about the serious sides of life..and our relationship issues we're facing.. like the titles staes.. Shes changed my life more than I could ever describe... and just as I was going to bed..she was getting up for work.. so I wished her a great day and went to bed.

Hey Everyone!!

OK!! Lets start with letting everyone know ive got 4!!! new videos linked up for everyone.. now as for excuses.. I need to let everyone know..this video shoot happened after I recorded for 6 hours before he showed up... So to let you all in on my day today (Tuesday the 16th) ..I started today later than usual.. as I didnt sleep til 6am. I woke up and did my duties.. realizing I mustve pulled a muscle in my chest yesterday as predicted.. its sore to touch.. sucks.. wenh wenh wenh!!! hahaha..me and my father spent 3 hours installing a new ceiling fan in the jam room tho!! should REALLY be nice come the hot weather!! I stuck it out around the house til about 7pm. I had a few words with someone I care alot about.. and things between us just cant seem to come out right.. shes just hard to communicate with as shes feeling very run down.. my thoughts go out to her tho.. id do anything for her.

But to save me from dwelling ..my buddy Ray had phoned and asked if I wanted to hang out.. so I said sure.. as a favour he stopped by Dicks tattoo shop and got my spray paint and shit that I forgot.. that was great of him.. he also dropped off another bundle of egg flats for the jam room!!! \m/ f'in schweet!!! ..We then got word from some girls we've met.. they asked if we'd like to hang out tonight.. so we did just that.. went to Rogersville ..which is about a 30 min drive from Miramichi.. it was good times tho.. we then came home and parted ways... Also.. I was sent the entire "Spastic Ink - Ink Complete" cd online.. man.. what a great gift.. what a great album!! ..thanks bro!! \m/

Cant Sleep.. Clown Will Eat Me!!

Hahah.. Hey Everyone!!

So lets see here.. its now 5:35am ..and im pretty damn sleepy.. I got up in the middle of the night tonight.. if you've been checking in..im sure you'll figure out what is keeping me up.

Yesterday was a barrel of fun.. for real! ..after I posted my plans for the day.. my friend Ellen called me and invited me to go visit our friend Mega on his lunch break.. I then went for ice cream with her and made her let me pay for it.. fuck chicks are NEW fashioned these days..haha.. but it was great..we soaked up the sun on a swing behind the ice cream stand.. Ellen was wearing these "wrap" pants..and I heckled the shit out of her for them hahaha.. I kept calling them "hammer" pants.. and humming songs.. then she got frustrated and in her efforts to tell me theyre not "hammer" pants.. with ice cream flying everywhere.. she told me " theyre not MC Pammer Pants" hahah.. so good.. thennnnnnnnnn we decided we'd bring Mega some ice cream.. we brought it alright!!!.. it was such a mess by the time we got it to him... it dripped all over me.. but he got it.. and loved it!! .. the FatKat crue musta been jealous!! =)

Then I came home and lifted weights/cleaned house.. and goddamnit.. I pulled my left peck muscle today.. my chest was in alot of pain today.. now im trying to blame it on the weights.. but it may be stress related.. I mean.. im going threw one hell of a time emotionally right now.. so I could be over-loaded.. wouldnt surprise me at all lately

After that.. I went out with Ray. We met up with Mike and this new guy Andrew.. we went to a few shops at the mall.. I decided to goto cdn tire and buy some BlACK spray paint. Ive been getting egg flats from Ray's workplace.. and im going to line the jam room with them to help the sound levels my neighbours are so kindly dealing with. So I bought 4 cans.. and I got 4 packages of pushpins. Ray then dropped me off at Marc/Aaron/Siobhans house..where to my surprise my buddy Josh from Fredericton was here for a visit. Tery,Dick,Derek,Kairon Maiden(haha) ..were there for a jam.. so we watched them for quite awhile and then Peggy and Adam stopped by..so went out to Ed's Subs for something to eat.. then when we returned.. me,T-Bone,Dick decided to jam abit... and that was fun as hell.. after that was over.. I got Dick to give me a lift home.. but I forgot my damn paint in his car.. so I better call him today about it.

So thats basically my day yesterday folks.. right now im gonna try to get a few hours sleep without missing out on an awesome day weather wise.. lets hope today is a great one.. wishing everyone the best.. this is Les Nesman signing off.. hahah

Shedding Skin

Hey Everyone!!

Well sunday was great.. I spent the day cleaning house/lifting weights/visiting friends.. great day!

Today is just starting..but so far its been a solid step in the right direction.. Ive gathered enough strength to walk away from someone im hopelessly in love with.. so now that ive accepted the situation..im looking forward to being focused again. Im about to shower and either bike 10km to the studio to record.. or im gonna bike 10km out..grab a java..and then 10km home to do housework/train. Lately ive been really debating taking down the huge studio kit I have here.. to make more of a compromised setup for both live and studio atmosphere.. but its hard to do.. I love playing my 33pc kit... but we'll see.. im liking the idea of change.. esp considering where my mind is lately. Stay tuned and I wish you all the best!!

You Got Another Thing Comin!!!

Hey ppl!!

So lets see here.. its now 6:11 am on saturday morning.. im still awake from the night.. as I covered for my father at his job last night..for no money tho as a favour for my dad.. he had to take the night off to play a gig.. which just reminds me even more that another weekend is going by that im not gigging!!! ..it sucks!! haha.. other than that.. im doing great.. just had a meal..so why complain!!

I last reported here on thursday.. and since then ..Ive recorded 2 more songs for the Black Frost cd!! ..its really coming along now..as I have 8 out of 10 songs done.. and so far we have enough material to fill a 74 min cd.. but im still going to do the last 2..so we can choose which 8 of the 10 songs we'll release on the cd... the last song was 9 mins long and had 14 changes to it.. thats alot of work when ur doing them start to finish hoping not to make mistakes ...weeeeeeee hahaha.

I mostly spent the last while hanging with my friends.. the weather has been great.. so ive tried to make time for the relaxed side of life right now.. ive been meeting new ppl lately aswell..and its been great times. Aside from that side of life.. im really trying to get back on track with music.. I just went threw a very heavy emotional tornado and just need time to rest/gather strength.. but im coming back ..thats forsure.. so no retirement in sight folks haha.. anyway.. im tired and the sun is coming up over the tree line.. and I dont wanna miss the day.. so i'll check ya later ppl!! ..stay well!!

Hey Folks!!

..so lets see here. Last night went great.. Parker and The Edge came over not long after hellaluah's practise finished. There was about 15 ppl here at one point.. I guess it turned into a mini party for awhile haha. We let parker hear the tracks ive recorded and he seems very pleased with my work.. so im glad about that.. not that id do them again.. but I was worried where ive done every one of these songs start to finish..its not very "professional" more of an ego stroke.. but theyre done well I think.

So todays agenda will be.. coffee and then recording all day ..im hoping today is gonna be a productive one.. wish me luck!! and stay tuned!!

Hey Everyone!

Ok..so monday night went great!! ..I came over to Aarons to watch the "unamed" band consisting of Tery,Dick,Derek jam it up.. good times!! We ended up having a good jam at the end.. both me and Derek were on the kit..as we have 2 kits in the jam room here right now.. then it was Tery,Dick,Aaron on the Axe's..it was super fun!! and everyone agreed the full sound of it all was really kool.

Now for yesterday.. so I ended up crashing the night here at Aarons. We did our coffee run downtown and came back to try to record another song or 2. I ended up calling Matt over to re-do a couple of the songs him and I layed down last week.. after hearing them back I just wasnt content. So the good news is we've re-done 1 of the 3 songs I want re-done.

Today im not too sure of what will happen.. because Brian and Bruce have the day off work today.. so Tery,Bruce,Brian,Aaron are talking about having a Hellaluah jam here tonight.. also Parker of Black Frost and our friend Chris "The Edge" are coming down to Miramichi from Moncton today..so I may or may not be able to convince Aaron to record today... but im up for it as I just woke up..and feel pretty good!!! ..so i'll report back soon.. take care everyone!!

Grey Skies Are Gonna Clear Up!!

Hey Folksters,

Sooo lets see here.. yesterday was good!! ..I did some housework/lifted weights for awhile.. im thinking I need to slow down on the weights.. im torn between becoming attractive and my drumming..lately..my arms are feeling heavier and slower.. not good when ur recording a speed metal cd. Then after having supper..I went out with my buddy Ed for coffee..and while we were out..we ran into Bruce. So then after we all hung out..me and Brucifer went and visited Marc,Aaron,Siobhan ..good times were had! ..I was there til 6am..when I decided to catch a ride home with my father as his shift was just ending.

So im now waking up to start this gorgeous day.. its about 2:30 and im about to shower and then bike 10km into town.. do my rounds and see how ppl are.. also gotta fix my bass drum pedal today.. no recording today tho as another band is jamming there at 8pm..no worries tho.. a day in the sun will do me good.. so i'll report back later!!

Hey Everyone,

Last night was good times.. visited a few friends.. and met a couple new ones!! Good times indeed!!. Today is a day of relaxation. The sun is shining.. I just spent 4 hours chatting with ppl on MSN..trying to catch up with ppl.. im doing well.. well as I can do here in Miramichi.

Im spending today cleaning house/lifting weights. I'll be starting recording again tommorow.. so i'll keep you all posted with updates. Take Care Everyone.

No Place Like Home

Hey Folks,

Sorry for taking so long again to do an update.. but ive been a busy bee. Wednesday turned out to be quite productive..I got 1 more song recorded for the Black Frost Cd..but I ended up breaking one of my pedal springs not long after that take.. so ive been on hold since then.

I spent thursday hanging with friends.. drove around most of the day/night and got to see some friends of mine before they leave for Halifax for their practicum...good times indeed. Friday was great too.. I spent yesterday hangin out mostly with my buddy bruce downtown.. we just missed an INSANE rain storm luckily.. we ducked into Ed's Subs for dinner and got to see some friends of ours that work there. Then we got some party supplies and headed over to a "Rockstar Costume Party" over at Mega and James' place. We had a blast forsure.. about 30 ppl were there..and we had a great buzz on.. so it was great... no shame in having a good time.

Today im just getting myself together..im showered and heading downtown for breakfast/lunch.. so if anyone wants to find me..i'll be out and about til 8pm..then me and Marc have plans to hang out tonight.. so i'll report back tommorow.. take care everyone!!

Well as you can see ive uploaded another picture for you!! ..those are my 1986 TAMA Crestars in Piano Black..they were only made for 6 months of 1986..so theyre EXTREMELY rare.

Sorry I took so long to update/post ..but ive been really busy trying to sort out some priorities. Ive been in contact with Bruce Aitken of the CB DrumFest.. and i'll be submitting my info to him asap ..so I can try to be a part of their 2007 festival. Right now im at the studio trying to finish up the Black Frost cd.. we have 3 songs left..hopefully 0 songs by the end of today.. stay tuned tho.. and Carpe Diem.
